Working together to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment so that all our children reach their full potential.

 Harvest Food Bank Donations

On the 14th October the school donated a huge food parcel to the Leicester South Foodbank.  The parcel was made from tins, jars and packets of food collected from children and parents for our Harvest appeal.

This special donation was organised by the school council, who wanted to give to this very worthwhile charity.  For further information on how our donation will be used please visit www.leicestersouth.foodbank.org.uk

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

Thank you to all carers/parents/grandparents who made or bought cakes for our Macmillan Coffee on the 30th September in the Hall. It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying coffee and cake with the children and raising so much money for this brilliant charity. The total raised for the afternoon was £410!!

Harvest - Wateraid

As part of our Harvest Festival which we always celebrate in church, we raised money for Wateraid. The school council chose this charity as they felt it was very important to have fresh water and talked about it during the service. We raised £190.86.

Children in Need

We celebrated Children in Need in style and all wore our superhero outfits or our onesies. We all looked great and had a fantastic assembly about how we can help this charity. We raised £329.00

Shoeboxes

During October many of the children took home empty shoeboxes which they filled with gifts and presents for children in Romania. These have all been sent so that these children can have some presents at Christmas. We sent over 150 boxes.
